ALL THINGS D&D WEDDING // prep + week-of + day-of / by Dani Perrot

SOME OF ALL OF THE THINGS

FIREWEED JELLY FOR THE GUEST GIFT BAGS

My favorite flower. Couldn’t have it in my bouquet, guess I better make tons of jelly for our guest gift bags and give my anxiety something to chew on (i.e. making all of our guests sick). CANNING FOR THE FIRST TIME ONE MONTH OUT FROM YOUR WEDDING?! WHY NOT?! Type II fun.

WEEK OF!

Not pictured: so many things, notably my parents bringing up a truckload of party supplies then helping us put everything together for the happy hour for a morning; bears; Kyla, Duncan, Dill, Leah, Eliz, Ma, Pa, Dierker, and me setting up the Boathouse for the reception; Flem and Casey making the playlist for the happy hour; our family and friends enjoying Tahoe (which made my heart sooo happy); I’m sure I’m forgetting various things, so everything-I’ve-spaced-on too! (Thanks to Kristie for pics during the rehearsal!)

WEDDING DAY

UPDATE: the professional photos are done! HERE is a lovely little slideshow Jaime put together for us. Hooray!

A few shots from family and friends!!! Super stoked for the profesh photos from Jaime and Annie too. Best day of our lives, hands down, and absolutely worth all of the sweat and tears and sleepless nights. A huge thank you to our amazing community who supports us, all of our family and friends in our ceremony, Sarah Dillon for doing all of the AV and day-of coordination (super-human/friend), and to our vendors: Camp Richardson (Mary and Sierra), Rose St Studio (Jaime) + Annie, Flour Girl Wedding Cakes (Sarah), Thran’s Flowers (Katie + crew), and L’Atelier Tahoe (Shelly and Audrey). Also to BHLDN for being affordable and giving me so many wedding dress options I couldn’t choose, and to Goldworks in Fort Collins, especially AJ, for helping us make our rings and Dierker’s tie bar! Not pictured that will be burned in our memory forever: last dance to Call Me All amidst glo-sticks and lots of love, and then Dierker and I riding away into the night on a cruiser bike+trailer set up. So much fun.
