Four Pass Loop (success!), Harvard, and September Turns / by Dani Perrot

Woohoo! Well, three weekends ago we were able to get the Four Pass Loop done, and it was INCREDIBLE. A circumnavigation of the Maroon Bells in a day with killer weather, incredible views, remote…it felt great to cover that much ground that efficiently. Afterward, we headed up to the trailhead for Harvard and Yale and slept out of the back of the Prius again. The legs were a “little” tired Sunday morning, but we made relatively good time getting up and down Harvard (tag!) and back to the car. We killed some time on the couch at City on a Hill in Leadville, crushed a hot dog in Frisco, then got in our September turns with only a few hours to spare! Whew! Amazing weekend out and up high, we know we’re super lucky to be able to do this kind of stuff together.
