Attempted a south-north Skyline Traverse on Saturday (team D&D&D for Dierker, Dani, and Dillon), and ended up doing completing about half of it. Dierker and I started from our apartment, Dill started from the Mindens, and we all met for breakfast on top of Sanitas. A sick Dierker toughed it out as long as he could, but ended up having to bail early back home after coming down Sunshine Canyon. Dill and I made it to Flagstaff and Green, but were running low on water and high on stoke for (tater) tots so we bailed down to Chautauqua to reunite with Dierker. Around 14.5 miles and about 4,500 ft of vertical gain-- pretty great for Dill, coming straight from sea level!
Shortly thereafter, we celebrated the Cubs winning the NLCS and heading to the World Series....A MOST EXCELLENT DAY!!!
