October Turns (bonus points for the 14er) / by Dani Perrot

This past Saturday, we skied a 14er! Mt. Sherman is perfect for this sort of early-season-silly-turn business: short approach, lots of weird looks and comments, low angle skiing, and creativity. We got in some very decent turns, and even had probably about 300 ft of corn turns toward the bottom. WHAT?! Corn in October? To boot, it was Day 2 for Dierker and his tele mission, which was a much greater success than trying to learn on a runneled St. Mary's last month.

THE STOKE IS HIGH.
