After the Matron yesterday and more beautiful weather forecasted, D&D&D (Dani, Dierker, and Dillon) headed out early Sunday morning to climb the Third Flatiron. The Third has been on Dill's bucket list for some time, and we felt super lucky to be able to do it with her. "Areas of dense fog" were thankfully completely below our elevation, making for a humid, quiet hike up in the dark to dry rock and incredible views to set the mood at sunrise. Many firsts for Dill were checked off the list, including: first multipitch, first simul-climbing, first rappel, first climbing with 3. We even made some new friends on the summit, and got her back to work only a few minutes late. CONGRATS DILLO!
