Over the Memorial Day weekend, we mostly attempted to ski and did quite a bit of hiking around with our skis on our back and looking at things instead. Not ideal, but had to be done to get the head back on straight after a winter of mostly running. Still had a beautiful time up in the mountains away from the heat in Fort Collins, and spent some QT together in the IPW and in the Nokhu Crags area. Good scoping! Best lessons learned from the weekend: when in doubt, take crampons; the Lyric is the best hangout spot in FoCo; sleeping in the back of the Prius is a GO!
