TETON R&GNAR / by Dani Perrot

[Couldn't think of a better title, so there you have it, c/o Dierker.]

Due to a perfect storm of many life events (i.e. birthday, new job, unemployment, moving), we skipped town to Jackson for our first real vacation back in the Tetons since moving in August 2014. It gave us a great opportunity to link up with some old friends, including our Teton Big Bro n Big Sis Jess n' Jona King. We traveled a cumulative 27.3 miles at Teton Pass and in GTNP, climbing 15,186 ft and skiing 16,349 ft. Talk about pressing a re-set button! Many thanks to Connie at ATC for prepping us for a trip like this, where even when we were tired, we were never so tired we felt like we had to stop.

Spending time with our dear friends still living in Jackson really made us appreciate the time we had spent there...every moment, from meeting one another to making the decision to move to the Front Range. We feel super lucky to be able to go back and still feel like we're at home. Doesn't hurt that normal CO conditions will sure make you appreciate "bad" conditions in the Tetons too!

Thanks to all of our friends for being wonderful hosts, we miss you guys so much, all the time. WE'LL BE BACK!

XOXO, D&D
