As the training continues Dani and I spent this last weekend skinning and skiing with heavy packs and camping out on the snow. We skinned up Loveland Pass Ski Resort on Saturday and then made our way to Second Creek Drainage on Berthoud Pass to set up camp and see how we faired against 15 degree temps and 45 mph winds.
We lived to tell the tale and ended up doing a 3 hour tour Sunday morning before heading back to the Front Range.
